Gender Development Association (GDA) is a leading Gender Rights Non-Profit Association, working throughout Lao PDR since 1991. GDA works to empower particular women, gender diversity, and disabled people to achieve gender equity through joint action, knowledge sharing, and ending gender-based violence and discrimination.
- Assist in writing project proposals.
- Edit project reports.
- Attend GDA network meetings.
- Collaborate with the GDA Director and management team.
- Support general organizational activities.
- Contribute to GDA's mission of gender equity.
- Develop project management and communication skills.
- Build professional networks.
Purpose
GDA is looking for a National Internship Volunteer. This volunteer will work closely with the GDA Director and management team, and will assist in writing project proposals, editing project reports, and attending the GDA’s network meetings as required and agreed upon.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, business, and international development studies, social science or relevant field;
- Strong inter-personality and excellent skills in coordinating and communicating;
- Experience and knowledge of community development project and fund raising.
- Proficient in Lao and English writing.
Upon completion of this internship, the intern will have the opportunity to:
- Develop practical skills in project management, and communication within a non-profit organization.
- Build professional networks within the gender and development sector.
- Contribute meaningfully to the work of an organization dedicated to social change.
- A work certificate will be provided after assignment completion, and a travel allowance will be offered according to the GDA policy.
