The Womens Empowerment on Handicraft Project for Women in Communities is the main project which GDA runs in Sangthong district of Vientiane capital province. This project is strongly supported by the district government counterparts by implementing the project activities. This project aligns closely to the GDA vision and mission by focusing on empowerment of women in communities by mainstreaming gender equality through the activities undertaken. Exchanging the lessons learned for the Womens Handicraft group is the key point for group empowerment. They can gain useful knowledge and skills such as group management, marketing management and sufficient production planning.
